Kegger intake short runners ?
I did a lot of research but didn't find anything.
I do want to shorten Kegger intake runners by half length, did anyone tried it before and tested on track or Dyno ?

Hughes engines (or is it hughes performance??) has some dyno charts with various modifications of the kegger intake. Keep in mind though, that shortening the runners moves your power band up in the RPM range..... Which isn't really what you want if you actually use your truck AS a truck.....
Ah, well, that's an entirely different kettle o' fish.
Might wanna look at the hughes air-gap instead then, or, if you get REALLY lucky, a Mopar M1 intake. (they came in both 2 and 4 bbl flavors.... 2bbls are rare, but, if you can find one, that's the one ya want.

They are expensive and rather hard to find used, I try DIY or being cheap 😅 I will do it anyway but would like to see others experiences and results of such mods.
I did the kegger mod on my 96 truck, cut the runners back about an inch or two, it did indeed move the powerband up, but, gave a bit more power above about 1500 RPM or so...... Check out the hughes site, see what they have done, you can likely get some ideas from them.
Will check that, thanks 👍

It's enough to raise the power band a few hundred RPM, and extend it further up in the range as well.
