SUCCESS!!!....B&M pan came today, the inner cooling fin did hit the solenoid. I "engineered" it down with an angle grinder after checking with B&M tech dept. Went on without a hitch...drained about 5 quarts of fluid and put 7 back....prob could use another 1/2 qt...but it got dark,so I'll check it out tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who had advice, would have liked to have a deeper pan,but as much as i drive it.....It'll do

I was going to do the same thing but I figured that if I have to modify something that I paid for to fit my tranny than the company can have it back.

Im glad you got it worked out.

I'm sort-of in the same situation at the moment. I got the B&M pan (and its a nice piece)cause they said it would work, but I don't know if I want to go modifying it. I guess for the price ($120) a littleediting isn't real bad though....

Is there any reason that I "should not" modify it, or will it work fine if I just remove a little of the inner cooling fin to allow for the servo??

Thanks

So what all did you do? I assume that one or two of the interior fins had to be gound down?

How far down and how many?

I'll upload a pic....1 fin ........broke it with a hammer and then ground it down with a angle grinder

Thanks
