1.6's you could get the viper rockers which are 1.7's but I heard there is a slight mod you need to do to something, maybe the baffle in the valve cover... to get them to fit.

While you're on a roll what about a cam? I want a good cam, but I want a rough idle. I know I should put functionality first, but I love that sound.

I'd go to Hughes motors or Krc performance and check out their cams... oh and also southwestrt.com, Sam is a good guy to work with and is pretty easy to get ahold of in a pinch. That's where I got my crower roller rockers... as for what cams do what... I couldnt tell you other than it has something to do with the lobe separation... I think the wider the separation, the lopier it is.

Do you notice a performance gain with the 1.7's?

yeah there is definately a gain with the 1.7's, i'd expect more with the roller 1.7's.

TPSDodge... did you have any geometry issues using the viper arms?

wernt your crowers rollers . harland sharp makes 1.7's RR's and are a bit cheeper then the crowers.. actually alot cheeper i think... silver has them and he likes them.. and they fit under stock valve covers.

Hells ya, I love my HS 1.7's. One of the best mods I have done. Mid RPM is were I can feel them most. I did change my valve covers, but it is not necessary, they are designed to fit under stock covers. Also, they are roller tip and roller fulcrum, so you get that advantage over the stock flat tappet rockers.
