Default 1.7 viper rockers

I read in another post that viperrockers are 1.7 and can be used also for the 1.7 roller rocker mod. I know that roller rockers are made betterbut I am on a budget.
[ol][*]Would the viper rockers work?[*]What year of viper doI want to tell the parts counter?[*]What will this mod do exactly?[/ol]
Thanks for any help.

5245335 is the part number you need dealer cost is only 3.90 a piece so dont let somebody screw you too bad on them

I have them and the work great and are a large imporvement over stock, no modification is necesary just bolt in place of old ones

oh and list is 6.5 EACH IF THEY COST YOU THAT MUCH THATS A FAIR PRICE

So your tell us we can just bolt the viper rockers directly in place of our V8 ones and do nothing else? Dont need to change push rod or anything else? If so that sounds like a cheap upgrade.

So for a 5.2 I would need 16 of them right?

Keep in mind that they are just stamped steel rockers like the stock rockers. If you upgrade to Harland Sharp or others, you get aluminum with roller tip and roller fulcrum, much better.

But is there a performance difference using Viper rockers over stock?
