Hey guys, I just thought I would show you what im making for my truck.

So im adding that second peice of wood in the middle because im making a "trap door" It will have two hinges and a lock. Need 4x4? Unlock it and lock 4x4 in then relock the console. Simple. Im going to fill this console with switches and guages. Im going to add a power inverter and maybe a dvd player to it too, But im still unsure about the dvd player.

Let me know what you think. And no that paint isnt staying, I just wanted a example for my self.

Check out the console in the MOTM thread. He did an excellent job, and may give you some ideas.

Good idea though.

 

Yea ive seen it, I seen the one on Pavement sucks first. That gave me my ideas. Hope to finish it soon. School kinda takes up some time. Lol.

 

School can be like that....... How inconsiderate of them though, scheduling classes during your 'work on the truck' time. Damn.

 

Alright, new idea. I need to bring that up and get it made into a class. Make it last twice as long as normal.

I really don't mean to be an ***. But, this doesn't seem like an upgrade. Spraypainted plywood in your interior?

How does that look better than what you have? i am sure others are thinking the same thing.

 

The paint isnt staying I just painted it close to see how it would look, Im intending on painting it properly or having it upholstered. Its just a rough sketch of whats to come. I never said I was done and I did say in my OP that the paint isnt staying.

 

I'll have to agree with CATPFW, I don't think it's an upgrade. sorry man.
