I just went to start painting the brake drums and calipers and wow! that is one big *** drum on these trucks. I am going to take the red paint back and go with silver or black since the wheels I am getting will leave the drums more exposed then most wheels and i think it will be to loud with the big red drum. I really had my heart set on doing it red too....

Yay! I got my wheels today 20 inch chrome srt 10s

Went and had the tires put on. The guy stayed late to do it after everyone had left for the day and was extra careful with the wheels and we got to talking about cars and stuff. He was really cool so I figured I would let the tire disposal fee slide, he is there just doing his job and staying late to help me so I was not going to bitch about $8 and ruin his day after everything he did ...lol....

Thanks I like them alot...The goodyear guy threw in some free chrome valve stems and chrome caps so I figure that was worth $8 lol.... They make my 18 inch wheels on my vette look very very small. I plan on painting the calipers and drums Saturday then I will put them on and take some pics.

Be careful when using metal valve stem covers. Throw some anti-sieze on them to keep them from getting stuck on the valve stem. Ive got that problem on 3 of 4 tires right now, but Im getting new tires in the fall so no biggy.

Awesome wheels though!

Rengnath thanks for the tip!

Keaton lol I doubt the bold pattern or the offset is the same and the vette has 305's or 315's on it i cant remember, but that would be a site to see. When I go into Tampa I see all kind of sedans with a truck suspension with big 24's on it they look pretty crazy and those people spent a lot of money to make those cars like that!

Yeah thats a little to much if you ask me.... but thats my opinion. Some people probably think I do some crazy stuff to my cars that I think is awesome like I am sure those people think its awesome what they do to their cars raising them up like that. Oh well to each their own. Ugh its been a long week I am so glad tomorrow is Friday!
