Very very nice my friend. Yea I was looking at it the other day and I saw that I can get a cheaper 1-ton cherry picker to do mine since those supports come out, saves a little dough.

By the way, the 4.7 weighs in at 435 and the closest info I could find for the cummins was something like 700lbs for the 5.9l.

Oh, and did you do anything with the spindle when you dropped the differential, or are the arms fine at different angles?

Thanks for the updates and good luck!

The lower one is a real bear to gt out. With all the body bolts out we were able to separate the front end enough to get the center part out.
Once it was out I sectioned out the front part of the tube so now it slides into place from the engine side and the 8 bolts hold it in.
I think my 3.9 is probably about 550lbs so not that much more than the 4.7.
I don't follow you on the spindles?
I have not modified anything else in the front suspension, yet.
I just lowered the front diff 1 1/2" which makes the axles run parallel to the ground instead of down hill. Once the leveling blocks are installed it should come back to a slight down hill slope to the axles.
The truth will be once its finished and gets a wheel alignment.

I must have been tired when I asked that. For some reason I was thinking the diff and lower control arm were both being dropped. But the spacers are taking care of that.

today I dropped the steering rack 3/8" for a little more oil pan clearance.
Made some offset rack bushings and then slotted the holes in the cross member.
Hope to install the engine for the LAST TIME this weekend.
Then all the accessories get installed like alt, starter, A/C and turbo.
All the Rancho shocks and struts arrived today so I can get the leveling kit installed.
Hope to have more pics after the weekend.

Had a bit of a delay. I forgot to order the spring clips that hold the release brg to the arm so we could not get the engine in till today.
With the 2" leveling kit and the engine installed I'm about 3/8" higher in the front.
Still have the alt, starter, A/C, rad, intercooler and front sheet metal to install so I hope it comes down a bit more. Will be installing rear air bags anyway so that would bring the back up a bit to match the front. Front axle shafts site dead level after the leveling kit and lowering the diff a couple of inches. Need a 1" drive shaft spacer for the front shaft.
So far its looking good.

I have not figured out how to load them onto the forum easily. I try a few ways and all of a sudden there they are but very SMALL.

The BIG news is today it fired up!!
Its ALIVE.
Still a long ways to go but at least I heard it run.
