Ok, I'm planning on running no mufflers now... I can't stand my exhaust anymore, it drives me crazy...

So, I'm going to run mufflerless now... for at least sometime... is there any problems I need to worry about? Other than the fact that I will lose a significant amount of backpressure?

I've been talking to a friend, and he said he thinks with the dual 2.25" pipes, exited out the side, that I should have nothing to worry about... what do you guys think?

 

depends where they are exiting exactly in leu of the cab and also how far away from the side it is

I'd like to know as well, and will you be selling your mufflers? I might be interested.

 

As long as you leave your cats in you should have enough back pressure not to worry about anything.

nah i had mine with nothing but headers and a catfor a while it wasnt horrible but not quiet. he has piping at least which will take some rumble out....but it's gonna sound like a tractor probly.
anyways how long we talkin here before you do something, like get flowmaster 44's?

 

I saw a 57 chevy, no mufflers, short exhaust. started up from a red light and i about jumped out of my skin because i wasn't expecting the deafening loudness. just don't get caught with no mufflers frenchy
