How far on reserve
I RAN OUT! proud of it. i was full of passengers and the needle was on rock bottom AND i was on a deep slant when it happened. and they (the air force base police)wouldnt tow me cuz i was 'out of juristiction' (by 20 feet). but its ok i got a little gas tank and just started it back up.
anyways, when the needle is on the bottom it goes pretty far, i just wasnt used to have 4 people with me and going up a big hill....learned my lesson

I've never run out, but been scared a few times. My guage reads a little off since I put my airbags on the back and I tow a lot off and on. So watching my mileage doesn't work well. What I did was buy a 2.5 gallon gas can, one of the vapor less ones, and I keep it full and in my tool box at all times. Only had to use it once and boy was I happy to have it there. Probably not the right answer, but it works for me.
i hit 380 miles on the overhead and the light comes on, then when i fill it up about 20.5 gallons it takes.

The most I've ever put in is a little over 20 gallons....I don't often let it run low....
I usually get between 280-350 per tank, depending on what I'm doing....if it's towing, it's closer to the 280 or less.
