Default the joys of summer are gone

wll it is 40 degrees in ct now and the gas prices jumped up quite a bit. reg 3.10 a gallon and some places have the 92 over 3.60. boy, i miss summer when i was just relaxing around the pool with no worries but i will have to wait till next season until then i will have to dream

Yeah and home heating oil jumped 15 cents from 2.99 to 3.14 in one freakin day! I just dished out 450 bucks for just over 1/2 a tank!

Oh I plan on making some changes this year. Our boiler is 47 years old, YES the original with this house. That will be changed out this month. We are also looking into a pellet stove, but that will depend on a few factors. We are a little limited on space!

Gas heat, 2nd floor, 90+ year old apartment with drafts everywhere and a roommate who insists on running their space heater all the time... I don't even want to think about what the utility bill will look like this month [&:]

Oh well, still cheaper than living on campus

Well we are in the mid to low 30's and we already have snow on the ground...

to top it all off gas costs 3.25 a gallon for reg. unleaded.

im ready for the snow as well. last year we had snow on the ground all winter. had a month of huge ice storms as well. i loved it! im pissed off, i cant find my pics from playin in the snow with the ol dak
