Dude...good luck. I had to take the bolts of to mount the brackets for my bull bar. It took two grease monkeys i work with, an impact and about 3 hours to take them off. It was a biatch.

go to the local garage and have them cut the bolts out with a torch. you may ruin the bolts, but the cant be that expensive

you might try a little heat first. heat it up to about 450 degrees and then whack on it with a hammer and try to turn the bolts either direction to break them (loose, not off).

Badass,

I ran into the excact same problem you did. Get some PB Blaster from your local autoparts store and saturate the exposed bolt threads inside the rubber boots. These are located under the hood to the right and left of the radiator. Try not to get any on the underside of the boot, just the bolt. Take a good impact to it. It will come out.

I tried to just get those long bolts out with my hand rachet, air rachet, etc. Nothing worked untill I got an impact on it. PB Blaster aids in easy extraction.

Soak the bolts down with PB Blaster tonight then again before you go at it, it should work itself in a little overnight and make it easier.

Good Luck.

I took mine off today to put a body lift on. I fought with one of them for almost an hour with PB Blaster and a 600 ft pound impact. At the end of the hour and no progress made I got out the die grinder and cut the heads off of the s.o.b.'s.
