I have basically the same truck as him, but I have a 6spd, and I've drafted semis at 65mph and got like 23 on my overhead as I cleared it, but it slowly dropped to 21.9...

Soo I mean...

the gearing is 3.55's. the 26mpg is no reset and last only a few seconds. i was on a long trip, following 3 other cars, it did 26mpg for about 2hours, then i made my destination. i get 21mpg by myself, the truck is rated 15/20mpg. i would like to do gears, but i do not know of anything i can flash the pcm with for the change. i would like 4.10's of 4.56's in it, the trans gearing is not something in the trucks favor. i have nitrous on my mustang, and a few friends have it as well. i do a lot of nitrous work and have my own filling staion, just not ideal for towing. i was thinking the jba headers and looking for a set of cams, not sure where to get cams. krc?

Not to steal the thread or anything. But my V6 is kinda a dog. I have a 4x2 V6 3.7L as most of you know. I have no idea what the gear ratio is in the rear end. If I did want to go with lower gears, say 4.10, where would I buy, is there a decent website? how would I identify I am buying the correct part for the axle, and does anyone know if Dodge has the ability to correct speedo/odo.

They were able to correct it with my larger tires.

I never considered a gear ratio change, but between the v6 naturally being a dog, and my 2" taller tires, maybe I should. I know someone who can install it for me too.

I am a newb about it though, help

Welcome to DF s2ks!

I believe superdak05 got his cams and a PCM flash through KRC performance, can't hurt to talk to them (superdak, please correct me if I'm wrong, can't remember for sure if they did your PCM or not).

can you get me a better picture of your windsheild tint strip?

I'm trying to do that right now, and im not sure if I want to cut out the section for the mirror, or waht I wanna do.

its a friend of mine. i unfortunately have a gt as well (wife made me get it), i also have an 85 chevy short wide that will be gettting built after i get the mustang done, and an 80 trans am that is my big project. i am think about a leveling kit and 285's, s&b cai, tow hooks, helper springs, ecu flash or chip, would like to do gears as well. thought about the shaker hood, but i dont think i want to spend that kind of money. i am still thinking about trading for a titan.

if you go down to where the mirror is, then you will have to cut out for the mirror braket. dont mind my son, he dont drive during rush hour
