1-so you want to spend time putting it on with your dad, but your having a shop do it....
2-you keep saying you dont want to buy a kit, and i think everyone said to stay away from the kit...

what does that tell us? it tells us our number 3

3-you are not even reading this thread

I am reading this thread. After some research and pricing out kits there aren't any that are in my price range. I'd love to do it with him and he'd love it just as much. But I can't justify the price of these kits.

Unfortunately the kits are always a good bit more, if you had a welder and a way to bend the pipe you could still do it yourselves, just pick up a muffler and some exhaust piping.

You could always buy a muffler, three slip connectors, exhaust clamps, and a small chunk of pipe, and do it yourself...

And get a shnazzy chrome tip...

And maybe read the thread...

I just told you what to do. For the love of ****ing god, READ IT!

The truck comes with 2.5" piping, unless you are doing true duals, it's STUPID to do get all new piping...
