Don't freak out about a metal bender. Get some pipe, or use your old pipe whatever, and just go to an exhaust shop. Not Monroe or something generic that will screw you, just a local exhaust guy that bends pipe. I got mine done for like 50 bucks maybe less. My father in law is a welder so that part was easy.

And when you reply to people, when people have posted in between, there's this NIFTY LITTLE BUTTON, it says QUOTE on it, CLICK IT.

That way we know who you are replying to.

I'm in the process up having header's installed in my dakota. I ruined the gaskets that came with them. Anyone know what is the best gasket to use for a 2005 dodge dakota? Are the gaskets that can be purchased from Dodge just as good?

Thanks,

NIGHT RUNNER, Are you from Lafayette IN.? I saw a truck at Wal-Mart that said night runner on it. It looked pretty awsome. If it was your truck, you should post some pics.

I ordered these from Air Ram when I got my headers, MUCH better than the stock gaskets that came with the headers.

I'm not sure if I posted this question specifically to you, I was trying to just post to a thread related to exhaust systems, I think it is a reasonable assumption that people who have knowledge about exhaust systems probably have some knowledge about headers. I don't think it is a random assumption.
I understand your grief over posting irrelevant posts but this is related, as you can see someone already posted an experience they've had with their headers.

Of course the 3rd gen section are the newbs, those are the newest trucks out, everyone started off as a newbie, including you. Some people need to lighten up.

Thanks, I think I will definitely order these, they look like they are aluminum.
