I feel the same way about my Dakota. Plus, if I came home with a Ram before this was paid off, I would be shipped to Tijuana by way of my wife's foot.

I briefly skimmed this forum... .I'm a proud 08 owner. I got the 4.7 and it now has 25,038 miles on it tonight! I have tried using different gasoline to see affect on mileage, and in town, I get 12 on regular (88 octane) and 13mpg on Premium (91 octane). With the custom cat back being installed tomorrow **yay** and the intake I should gain I'm hoping almost 1.5 mpg. Then if the tonneau cover rumors hold up, then I may be able to gain a bit more from that too.

But who the heck cares how much gas is anyways. I mean yah it sucks, but personally I don't, since I can't control the price, and I'm not going to let that be the deciding factor in what I drive. I'll drive what I want, where I want, when I want.

Anyhow, I got on a tangent and forgot what this thread was about............................................. ...........................................

I feel really stupid. Not being an avid Dodge enthusiast before owning my Dak, I never realized the huge facelift on the grille and headlight assembly in the 3rd gen Daks. I kinda like the 07 and older 3rd gen style front end better... but hey, if I didn't notice until now, I guess it wasn't that big of a deal. I sat and stared at Frenchy's grille for a bit before I realized it. Nice job btw, sharp lookin' French.

Just a quaint admiration is all... I already plan on just putting a T-Rex billet grille on my truck.

Frenchy's not that kinda person MT. Hes very particular but not an asshat. Some people just give him grief, but yeah 07 was the last year of the first 3rd Gen design and then 08 was the new body style.
