Yes I ran 265/75 R16, which is about a 32" tire. I have ZERO rub, lock to lock, no issues. This is with the steel 16x7 rims. I can't say for the other size rim and tire combos.
32" is about the max, 265/75r16 or 265/70r17.
Some guys with the 265/70 on a 17" rim say they rub.
I never rubbed at stock height with the 32" tires. For the guys who do get the rub, I hear its very little, and not really a big deal.

GoodYear Wrangler Duratrac 265/75r16
I think im going to go with the Duratrac 265/75r16 tires. If anybody has any suggestions feel free to post them. I need an all terrain tire that isnt too big for my 07 dodge dakota. I also need to find some nice rims for these tire so any help would be appreciated.

Let me do some research, as I forget the name, but Big 10 Tire offered to sell me some bada$$ MT's for $560 a set brand spanking new. Actually just give them a call and see what they have to offer.
Search through the old threads for rim sites, someone recently picked up a nice set of rims for about that same price. I forget the website though.

07 dakota
Im going to post a pic of my truck tommorow. I just bought it on friday and even though I have a very small budget, I am excited to upgrade it in the future.
This is what I have planned:
add on 265/75r16 all terrain tires
20 " rims (black)
Grill guard (black)
new suspension ( not sure what kind yet)
Lift (maybe way in the future, thats alot of money)
Redo the interior
Its only a 3.7L V6 6spd. Im not into racing or anything but I would like to upgrade the engine at some point
New dual exhaust
when I post the pic of my truck I would appreciate any comments on it and any ideas you might have for it.
By the way: Any1 who is lookin for a truck but doesnt have the money to go and buy a new one, check repo lots. I bought this truck for 10,000 from the security service credit union. It's an 07 with only 11,000 miles. i got it for about 4000 under msrp with warranty for 17 months . its pretty much new.

Overall I like the midnight theme. I'm a fan of all black vehicles, they look pretty wicked.
If you're tight on money you could do what some of us have done and paint your rims, even if just for the time being.

They looked MUCH better when I first did them. That's after a year of abuse and no touch ups.
Get those windows tinted dark, get some VHT nightshade paint and hit up your headlights and tailights, and that thing would be pretty d@mn sick in my opinion.
