AirRam - Intake Adapter Plate Kit
Waddup. I recently applied to switch from active duty to a guard position in Indiana. Long story short I'll get getting approximately $5,500 upon completion of my new tech school for my sign on bonus (hopefully I'll get accepted). I've been looking into the intake adapter plate kit that airram.com sells. They allow us to bolt on an '03 or '04 cobra intake to our truck. While looking around at Cobra intakes I keep seeing "lower intake manifold". Does this mean the intake is in two pieces (like my wifes Montero) or would that be considered the part of the intake that sits underneath the supercharger. If I get this guard spot, I'd like to take a portion (or all of it, depending on the wifes reaction) of that money and be the first (that I know of) to get a cobra supercharger on a dakota. Help! Thanks fellas.
Good luck man! I hope it works out for you. I got my last SRB tax free while serving in the middle east last February.
The Dakota-Durango sight has several post on the Air-ram manifolds and adapters.

I'll have to check that out. I really hope I get this. It's the only way I'll be getting a supercharger anytime soon. I guess I should start planning out what all I will need to get replaced and what not.
So the upper intake plenum is the consider the supercharger. Thanks man. I've been pricing them, and found a few pieces for RIDICULOUSLY low prices on e-bay. I shot a few people an e-mail. I actually found a guy that's in the process of doing this. I hit him up as well.

From Mr. AirRam himself:
"I'm not so certain that there would be hood clearance issues. I think it may be close but it may clear. If not it would give you a reason to add an aftermarket cowl hood.
Once we get the pulley alignment set up, the only other obstacles would be the throttle body plenum and the tune.... Both of which should not be too too difficult."
Sounds promising!
