Today I went to Mopars Vs the world.

I had a blast today, and learned alot of racing the 1/4 mile as I got a "Crash Course." My first set of runs (being nervous) I ran with my 20s, Street Blower tune, no alcohol. I got a 15.1 @ 91mph and attracted the attention of come Challenger Drivers and track employees who took the time to instruct me how to launch.

After some major weight reduction, adding the 16s with Drag radials, running my Race tune, using the Alcohol and dry ice chambers on I got 13.3 @109. I never knew so much was involved in the 1/4 mile I learned alot today.

Holy S**t 13s? That is part of why you got my vote for TOTM. Your Dak is what is possible for our trucks. Nice work lot of fun for sure.

 

good for you. i have a bar mounted between my 2 head rests that i bolt my camera too. mostly all onbord stuff i have. i will go through my videos and post some up. you can actually see the frt end lift up pretty good on the launches then you can watch the trucks frt end just bob up and down towards the end of the track, i am having a trailer hitch camera mount so i can see what it looks like when i leave the line.

 

That is actually a pretty good idea. I might look into that.

Eric, I spun the 20s half way down the track trying to launch, lol. With the drag sliks, it was over.

 

Yep, the wife was pissed. I pulled into the pit with my Nitto's smoking and said "Baby did you see that, I spun half the track?" She looked at me, crossed her arms and asked "Where are your slicks?" My reply, "Getting them now dear." LOL, the kids and I were really excited about being at the track, the wife not so much.

 

nice times.. my best run so far is a 15.7 glad to see that Paxton working well!

 

Yes Sir, it works well with the rest of my mods. The blower is definatley the best mod so far.
