what are you doing with the cam you have in there now then? since your putting my standard cam in truckys right?

Yep, until I install his new motor. I will be selling my 224s, they will require an SCT tune though.

If i were to get The H/O cams for my 4.7 and get them regrinded could i get them grinded to w.e i want like to 206 or 212 or 208?

Yes, 206, 212, 212X, 218 and 224 are all regrinds based off HO cores.

Wow thats sick and all for the same price? So im guessing that you couldnt use the stock cams and get them regrinded because there differnt. And could you tell me the differnce between the 212 and the 212x?

212X has more torque.

212 has more exhaust duration and less lift.

212 is 212/218 .465/465
212x is 212/212 .502/.502

Im sorry im being a pest about this lol, but i read if i got the 212 cams higher compression is reccomneded and a tune is mandatory. I know im going to need a tune but do i really need better compression? It also said the 212's are more fit for Dakotas. Will it run good in my Ram? thanks so much your a big help for me

Because they are ground to different specs. You choose the grind, the tech pulls the camcard and grinds the cam to what you want.

Yes, anything beyond a 206 cam requires a custom tune.

I don't think so, as you will see in this video the 212X does quite well in a Dodge Ram.

Crap i might need a set of 211x is it still $295 for 212x regrinds? Blown how hard is it to change the springs in a 4.7? Do you need to pull the heads?
