Clearing some air.
This months TOTM seems to have caused a bit of bad blood between the Dak and Ram sections. It was a good race, and I dont want to see it looked back on as anything other than a good race. A few of us Dak guys got into it with some of the Ram guys, and I dont want any bad blood out there over an OTM race.
So lets use this as a learning experience.
I know this doesnt mean a lot to most of you... ( )

And if that last sentence applies to you read the whole post again!
It's time everyone on the site recognized that we are all Dodge owners and we are all here because we like our Dodges. Everyone has their own particular model but there's no reason we can't appreciate the other models, or at the very least be civil. Friendly rivalry is fine but it has gone far beyond that lately.

Yes Sir.
That is why we have stop lights
In all seriousness, I hope in the future we don't have a repeat. Its fun to have a little competition but nothing resembling an online hockey match.

The sermon was read by "Father Hammer" and if you care to go to Eric's post in the 3rd Gen Ram section:

I think you'll see a bit of a change of heart there. I've always posted a bit in this and most other truck and SUV sections, especially if I felt I had something to offer in a thread and a little cutting up in your OT thread.
I think a good way to avoid this in the future is a little cross posting between the Dak and Ram sections. There are a lot in common within the trucks, especially among guys with the 4.7 engine.
So head on over to the Ram sections once in a while, hell you might actually make a couple friends over there...

...I echo the positives from the members that took steps to make sure that the respect of the mods in their efforts to resolve issues and maintain civility within the forum and kept it that way after everything was resolved. With everything else that has happened this month, I really don't want to see this again from anyone - I know that everyone can play nice so why not just do it from here on out everywhere we go, alright boys (and the few gals on this site)? ...
I know that there will always be a competition and the opinions that one section is better than another, but that is simply because we all are so dang proud of our vehicles. We are all dodge owners, be it Ram or Dak, 1st 2nd or 3rd Genners. Its our truck, and as much as some people may disagree with me on this but -- on the basic levels its just metal, wiring, framework, plastic and rubber. Yeah we can customize them, deck them out and dress them up... That is what makes everyone so proud and thinks that their sec or truck is the best... But this is just a FRIENDLY contest, this is a FORUM, this isnt life. There is no reward (other than the lil badges I make) -- no money, nothing...
