one more question about the notch/dremel tool. Do I need the cutting wheel for this, or what? I am also assuming from what I saw in the online manual that I need to drain the coolant...
There is nothing wrong with the, "NAPA" therm'. I installed one and it's working just fine. My truck is still running warmer then I feel it should. However, I can see the needle dip down when the thermostat opens. I think I have other problems other then the thermostat. Cutting the little notch is simple and should take all of 2-3 minutes with a dremel tool.
