it is a good mod to do, and for under 10.00 you cant go wrong, also another good mod for under 20.00 is changing out the plugs to cooler ones, the autolite 3923 plug is a direct replacement but one step cooler. you can get these at walmart cheap
Dont laugh, not mechanically inclined here, but do I want the gap set at anything different than factory recommendation (owners manual) for the 3.7L?
You can do the 3923s on the 3.7 ..... the info for gapping and the benifits are stickied in the commonly asked questions thread. I just installed my 3923s last night, and no complaints so far. The thermostat is next.

I saw your post earlier and forgot to respond. You want to gap them to .042" per: gapSpecs.jpg

Very interesting read and it discusses some useful information, expecially on how autolite rates their plugs and their input on the 3923 plug for our engines.
