Default Moments away from buying an 08. Advice please!

Black 2008 SLT with the 4.7L motor, four door, 4WD with 18000 miles on it asking $18,300. The dealer is going to throw in a running board. Did drive it and drove very well. I am coming from an 02 R/T. Always missed the four door and 4WD. Seems like a good price to me. So, yay or nay?

KBB says $18,115 (but that is for the Tampa, Fl area)

Excellent
$18,115

Looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning.
Never had any paint or body work and is free of rust.
Clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection.
Engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects.
Complete and verifiable service records.
Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.

If he is 'throwing in' the running boards, then negotiations should start at the lower price point...

I would definitely buy it, that sounds like a great deal...low miles...2008...4wd...4 door...what are you doing on here?! Go get it! lol! Its obviously in good standing if it was checked out by the dealer and a 2008, that's awesome...plus its black! Get the VIN number and run a carfax!

Thanks guys. Put down a deposit on it and will pick it up tomorrow. They didn't budge on the price and every other 08 I see goes for $20K+. One little kink was that their supplier didn't have the running board so I am not getting it. I am not sure if I really need it anyway. So barring unforeseen glitches I will be riding home in my "new" truck tomorrow.

Congrats on the new ride. I had to have the step bars on mine since these dakotas ride so high......
