Default Got my lightbar all installed... :)

I couldn't figure out any possible way to mount mine, other than the way Altair did his... sooo I headed down to Ace Hardware to snag up some angle brackets, #8-32 machine screws, a #8-32 tap and handle, some #8 washers, and #8-32 nuts.

It was about 10 degrees here today, so I pulled the tailgate off and brought it inside, and did all the measuring and drilling/tapping in the house.

I mounted the light bar flush with the bottom of the tailgate so it doesn't stick out and cause any issues... but anyways... pictures...

just barely fits, no rubbing.

had to mount a 4pin connector since I didnt have one, hid it behind my tail light.

Interesting way to mount that. I have mine mounted to the bed so I don't have to worry about disconnecting anything if I have to remove the tailgate. It has to be done just right, or the bumper or tailgate blocks the light. It's also plugged into the trailer connection.

But it looks great there. Good job!

Ya, I have no need to ever remove the tailgate. haha.

And it doesn't block anything, no light output is blocked.

I know what you mean about having to be done just right, I had to redo my dads on his ram, cuz we had it all hooked up, all put together, open the tailgate, and it rubbed. I was pissed.
