Default Spark plugs

Okay, so how hard is it to change the plugs one one of these trucks?

I looked under the hood and I couldn't even see where they are located.

I also wonder what they look like after 80K...

Yeah, the dealer informed me that they should be changed every 30K.

You have eight coils that look like this

Under them are the spark plugs.

Oy, I'll have to look for those tomorrow when it's daylight. Which means when I get to the lot after work, before I drive home. Seems they were right on top, not the sides, like plugs used to be, correct?

Which leads to the next question: What plugs to use?

they are fairly easy to change. you have to remove the air intake box and loosen and lift the brackets for the AC tubes. Then you unclips each plug from the coils and then lift the coils. Do one at a time removal to replacement so you don't forget one.

No Air Intake box! Changed that to a K&N CAI long ago!

But lift the AC tubes? Now that's kinda interesting...

Don't forget to blow out the plug holes with compressed air or something before you remove the plugs from the block.
