Airram has them but you can also try calling Comp Cams to see if they have them. Plus they show up on ebay motors from time to time.

Good write up. Looks alot easer than my chevy cam swap. No push rods or lifters to deal with.

Yes Sir. No push rods, lifters or degreeing the cam, lol. SOHC motors are much easier than pushrod motors. Just put piston 1 at TDC, and the cams are slightly out of neutral so turning them back to the correct position takes minimal effort.

I'm getting ready to install H/O cams and i just noticed the detail about the lash caps. Are those required? And where's the best place to get them? I only see them for 206 and greater grinds.

Thanks,
Kane

You don't have to mess with the lash caps for the HO cams

The 4.7L doesn't have stock lash caps. Lash caps are an aftermarket part used for cam swaps 206 -224. They fit between the valve stem and rocker.

Is there a write-up like this for the 08 intake manifold? I,m having a hard time with the EGR part and I,m wondering if I need the 08 hard line as well.

thank you.

Gotcha, thanks Blown. Going to do this if my HO cams ever show up.
