i found this the other day and was wondering if this would be a good shock for my truck at a good price i checked out Shockwarehouse and OMG so much more! so let me know

You always need to read the fine print.... Yes you can get 4 SHOCKS for that price. But the front of our truck takes STRUTS. Which are much more.
I already went through this so I will save you some headaches unless you want 4 rear shocks.

Strut application prices are slightly higher.

the front end is struts? did not know that so buying these would be relatively worthless your telling me?

Eimer is right. The rancho 5000's work for the rear, but you need the rancho or monroe struts for the front. I can't remember the part numbers, but I know they are littered around this forum. A quick search should give you what you're looking for.

I looked on both Rancho's and Bilstein's websites and neither lists shocks being available for GENIII Dakotas...

Only monroe and rancho make struts (and oem) for gen 3's
