I had my truck set to Superchips torque managment settings, and just taking off normal from a light I couldnt get it to shift out of 2nd. Im not risking my tranny over a $55 mod. It may have just been a fluke and I dont want to be filling any ones head full of my views as other people have had success with this and SC. I was just posting up my experience. Maybe Ill try it later down the road.

That is what Kent is currently running; no custom trans tuning.

do you think the problem you had with not shifting out of 2nd will happen to me with my tmr mod? it should be here today! i guess i could always reconnect the wire and see how it does.

I would try it out and see what it does. It didnt hurt my trans or anything. Right now I have it back to the way it was before the Sonnax and no problems.

dayyyyuumm, this thing rocks. under part throttle 2-3 is much better. at wot there is no slush box anymore. but shifts are much sharper.

rengath, I'm sorry to hear its not working out as you had planned.

For everyone else, I'm glad to hear how well the Sonnax has worked out for you.
