No biggie! The only way to find out is to try. It couldve been a number of things that caused my transmission not to shift up from 2nd. I thought it was in LIMP, but no codes.

Glad to hear this thing is working for a lot of people out there!

i'm going to go back to stock with my sc and see what it does. i'm also going to let ueland try the tuning w/o the sonnax, that way we have multiple view points.....sc with the sonnax, sonnax with stock tuning, and sc/trans tuning with and w/o sonnax...i am starting to see some strange things....random upshifts,,,,random lockups....etc...wondering if i'm damaging my tranny..

I just sold my Sonnax. No more tinkering with this for me. Ill stick with my SC .....

Just a side note: It has been suggested by both SC and Transgo (they use the same line pressure boosting method in their shift kit) not to use these products in conjunction. I have never seen a reason why though, if they even know. As always, they may have just been trying to cover their rear ends.

I just installed my sonnax on top of the SC with SC shift points and custom TM 35%- 9.6% and damn it shifts firm. The first couple shifts scared me with how hard it kicked, but after driving taking it easy for a while like the instructions say, it loosened up a little. It shifts amazing in my opinion. Its firm and strong. Havent tried any WOT yet, but so far so good.

I think the Sonnax is awesome. I'm putting it up at the top of my affordable/reasonable mods list.

yeah well if you get the superchips but dont download the trans settings which you have to pay for anyway then it wont be an issue!

And the best bang for the buck is the Super Chips Tuner to make the Dakota WAke up! from what i've heard (since i'm stationed in Korea and can't do it to mine yet) is great! Power wire will give you more power at WOT (Wide Open Throttle) because what it does is make the computer think its actually 20 degrees colder changing the maps and air to fuel ratio meaning more power. Sonnax helps the transmission shift more aggressively also make it to where the rpms are not dropping so much that you have a POWER LAG due to the RPMS dropping so far! I would say do all 3 at the same time then get in it and drive it and just feel your draw drop and eyes open wide!

You should re-gear if you havent. Stock gears are probably 3.55 so depending on the size tire you have now you need atleast a 4.10 or 4.56 gear
