Default Nitrous??

So I have an 05 w/ a 4.7, just a cat back exhaust, superchips tuner, and k&n intake. I was wondering if there is anything else that anyone would recommend to be done to the engine to make it run as "safe"(haha) as possible on nitrous and I'm not planning on spraying more than a 125 shot at most. So dose anyone know if it has forged internals? Any advice you could give me would be great!

You will need to run a range colder plugs. If you plan on using SCT to tune you will need a progressive controller. You will not need forged internals but you might want to consider an aluminum intake if you go any higher. Nitrous likes to "pool" in our intakes.

Joey runs a wet 125 nitrous shot, his wheels will look familiar Add him as a friend and ask him about his setup.

I would get headers, throttle body, and you are going to want to retune your truck, a progressive nitrous system would be start so you dont blow the tires off the truck. SOmething like a 50 shot in first and then a move up to a 125shot

Superdak05 also got new cams. He said in another thread that the truck is a dog to drive around the city, but once he uses spray he will blow hemis out of the water. I think he runs 13.3 in the 1/4 mile.
