I put my switch right under the little cubby beside the 4x4 kknob. My switch is a pushbutton and I just used one of the screws holding the radio bezel to mount the switch housing. Works great and I didn't have to drill any holes. You could also have a wireless switch using the homelink buttons if you have the overhead console with them.
I was going to get some behind the grille and put the switch in that little cubby next to the 4x4 switch.
Mine are going on the bumper guard. If I put them behind the grill, the winch would block them. Not much use there, but the winch would really be lit up!

Oh great Idea... Now, even after having the truck for three years, I have to go out and look and see if I have those buttons....
I should, I have the overhead console... mmmm I'll have to talk this one over with the guy thats doing the install...
Im fixin to make a brush guard and mount some lights too. I have seen the thing for the Homelink, and that is fricken awesome, but unfortuanately, i dont have that right now.
Can the "kc" lights be wired so that I have to have my factory fog lights on for them to be able to be activated? I will still have a switch for the "kc" lights, but i want to be able to have them shut off when i shut all of my lights off.
ive got all my switches tucked in the space between the steering column and the trim piece on the dash. like kind of wedged in between the column and the trim in that gap... of course my wheel dont tilt so it may not work for u. i've got the switch for my street glow under there too.
