LMAO, the wife would never go for that. That 380 hp 4.6L Kia TAU is no joke at 285ci.

Have you lined it up with the truck to see how it compares?

We have from a stop light and my Dakota takes it easily, lol. If I were stock or lightly modded her 4.6L Kia would kill me easily.

I would go with option 1, but only under the condition that when you blow your engine up.. you tell the wife that she was wrong to give you the options and you have to take option 2 now.

I'm hoping to not tear up my current motor as I want to push it as far as I can to see what its capable of. The only reason the wife is saying no to the Hemi swap is I won't have a lot of time to trouble shoot it as I will be headed to Officer school in April. I have to drive the truck from Nebraska to Rhode Island.

The new 4.7L is putting out almost as much power as the Hemi when it first came back. Like I said, if I use the new 4.7L I can still use my heavy injectors, map and supercharger. We will see, lol.

LMAO, Option 1 it is. If I can buy a new 08+ 4.7L motor I will post up pics when I start taking it apart.

I know man. I dyno'd with a club member who has an 09 Ram with 5.7L Hemi. His only mods are FIPK, Exhaust, Diablo Predator and MSD Ignition system. He put 348 to the wheels.
