Default Mod Opinions?

Guys, I want to see what you think. The wife is giving me two options for mods this spring and I can only pick one.

Option 1:
Get a Sheradon tranny valve body, Water to Air Intercooler kit, 3.55 gears with my new Aubrun LSD installed.

Option 2:
I swap to an 09 4.7L and install it. I will still run the SVT Injectors, same 2-bar MAP and yes I will run the blower. Probably start off with the 3.5" pulley around 11psi. If I do this, down the road I will forge it and see how much power I can get out of the new 4.7L. Plus this will give me the chance to research cam grinds for the new 4.7L.

So what do you guys think?

Personally I think you'd see more overall benefit with option 1. We still haven't seen what your current setup can truly do.

Common sense tells me I need to do option 1, but a local salvage yard has an 09 4.7L out of a wrecked Ram. It's so tempting darn it. Plus Rich said it best, I really need to see what I can do with 224 cam setup.

The only reason I would lean towards the new 4.7L over the Hemi is that my injectors, MAP and Supercharger will work on it. Plus I have mad curiosity about the new 4.7L. I'm going to try and convince her to let me do both. Even if I have to just let it set in the garage for a while, lol.

Wife is saying no to the Hemi swap for now. Just because we will PCSing to a new duty station this spring/summer. I helped install a 5.7L into a 4.7L Ram when in VA and it took about a month to work out all the electrical/tuning issues.

#1. as stated above, you gotta see what you can really push out of your 4.7 first.

NEW 4.7!!!! i just really want to know what can be done

if i have looked at it right, the only difference is the heads, and intake/exhaust manifolds, so if you put the new 4.7 in, then take the old bottom end and set aside, and start forging it when you get the chance(provided the heads will bolt up correctly) then just swap the heads out when its complete, plus (i think) the new 4.7 has more hp stock then the cammed old 4.7????
