280-290 for those mods. A friend of mine has those same mods with headers and Diablo tune and he put down 288 with his Hemi Ram.

To get where I'm at now I will need an 09 Hemi from a Ram or an 6.1L. Dusty with his club cab 05 Dakota and 5.7L Hemi with 6.1 cam ran a 13.9 so he is right behind me. I'm going for option 1 for now. If I do a Hemi swap I will probably get a regular 5.7L and after I have everything worked out and tuned i would buy a Sharadon 392 stroker kit and go that route. A lot depends on how this next dyno goes after the LSD, gears and intercooler.

Oh, and I still might to get my hands on a new 4.7L. Another 05 Dakota owner is considering having a new 08+ 4.7L engine installed in his 05 Dakota here in Omaha. If he has me do it this spring I will take a lot of pics.

Blown has just been dying to get his hands on an 08+ 4.7l for a while now. The Ram guys have already shown us what a hemi can do

It looks like I will be putting an 08 4.7L out of a Ram into a 2005 Dakota in the next couple of weeks. I will let everyone know how that goes.

To be honest, as far as my engine, everything will ride on this next dyno after I get the new LSD, gears and intercooler in. If I'm still not where I should be, I will start seriously looking into a motor swap.

Alright guys, I've decided. Based off the low hp/torque dyno numbers for the 08+ 4.7L, here are the up coming mods.

1st Install my Auburn LSD with 3.55 gears.
2nd Install a Novi2000 supercharger with boost limiter
3rd Install my Air to Air intercooler with the new blower.
4th Mailing heads to Killians for premier port/polish, high load beehives and Intake 1.94 / Exhaust 1.50 valves.

Next year I will bore over the block .030, go with forged pistons/rods and push the Novi2000 boost up to around 26psi. I will probably start next week and hope to have everything but the heads finished by March 1st.
