I probably won't go for a while though, I don't make it out there very often, I'm really just building the truck so I can have some fun on the street. Maybe I'll use the flashpaq to get a comparison of the before and after. That should at least be close.

Oh and I know a guy on another forum with a 2010 4.7L single cab, running 17" wheels with 26" slicks, flashpaq, airaid CAI, and muffler delete and he ran a 14.9. He now has mech fan delete, 180 tstat, ATI 25% underdrive pulley, and I think an aftermarket y pipe. He has 3.55 gearing and open diff, I think he is going to swap to 4.10 and LSD. He ought to have one heck of a runner there. He's hinted at either turbo or juice as well.
I think 4.56s would be better. I can't wait to get my restalled APS Hemiverter into my 4.7 Dakota. The Hemi is coming out of my 06 Ram and getting replaced with a stock 4.7 so I can sell the truck like it came from the factory. Someday my little 03 Dakota will get a GM LS1 PCM run 5.7 Hemi with a 4L80E behind it.

Those are amazing numbers for a N/A 4.7 man. Yea I just read about changing the tone wheels, sensors, coils, injectors to get the Delphi pcms to run hemis. That's some interesting stuff. Chebie makes a good buildable slushbox that's for sure.

I used an air hammer with a big sharp flat chisel. Then a giant crescent wrench.

Those are great numbers, especially for the older 4.7L.

I have good and bad news lol. My truck (according to the flashpaq) is slower in the 0-60 with the higher stall as compared to the stock stall. I'm pretty sure it's due to tire spin. I have big AT tires which probably aren't the best for launching, and an open differential. The best time I did before was 7.21, and now the best I have got is 8.11. About a second slower, but the tires are spinning for over a second so makes sense. I want to go to the track where it's sticky and see what it does. I can't imagine that it is actually slower....BTW the converter is a street edge 2800 stall. I was hoping with the stall I'd be at a 7.0 or faster.

Here's a video just to show. I've only had the converter in since last weekend so less than a week. And I've been riding my bike to work so have actually only driven the truck 2 days since then.

Only other mods are SC 91 tune(going to go back to the 93 tune soon, I overlaid the dynos and it's a fairly big difference...15ish lbft IIRC), airaid drop in, airaid modular intake tube, 180 tstat(even though it doesn't actually open at 180 deg...POS), and mechanical fan delete. Going to do a y pipe and magnaflow next.
