glad to see yall getting some better responses. but like every other company. all they care about is money. so far every company has said "were going to need a commitment from X number of people" thats BS. companies like thorbeck brothers (for mini trucks) started in their garage because they were sick of companies charging to much for easy stuff. now they own a HUGE shop and sell really nice quality bagged parts for cheap. thats how we are going to get started. theres no way we can get 100 people to commit to dropping upwards of a grand on a lift company

and id be glad to talk to these companies and give them my advice being that ive torn my front end apart maybe 20 times. and have retrofitting different parts on there already. some fit, some didnt. BUT in my experience. giving pointers to these high "walmart" style companies is like a bum talking to the chairman of the yacth club. they just dont care. unless the paycheck comes in. if i were to start a company. i would rather only make a few hundred profit and the rest is all parts cost. than to do what they do and charge soooo much for stuff that skilled crafstman can make. ive seen dodgetruckers bumpers....thats pretty much what goes into making control arms. plating and gusseting.

another thing is, there isn't just one lift kit. what kind of lift are you talking about. a spindle lift, leveling kit, long arm, short arm, spring. not everyone wants the same thing. some guys want a mudder, rock crawler, ralley truck, pre-runner, huge truck.

I know a lot of us already have sent emails to this guy, but lets send one that tells him that even if the few interested people here on dodgeforum aren't enough, we will spill the news like TMZ to every forum we know about.

Seriously, it will be free advertising, and there are TONS of dodge dakota 3rd gens out there. Not all are on forums, but as word gets out it will be known by many.

They WILL get their 100 customers, even if only 10 come from here. So what if they are just out to make money, it's not supposed to be charity. The 3rd gen will get a proper lift kit FINALLY. After 6 years, maybe 7 if it takes a while.
