The first thing I had to get after getting the pipe was an adapter to slide into the oem flex hose off the air box. 3inch to 3inch adapter I got from lowes. Both ends come with the strap to tighten it. So I had to take one end off as it was going to slide into the oem flex hose. On the end of the new air intake pipe I slid the extra rubber adapter that comes in the kit. To make a tight seal. In all it was cheap to do this mod.
Any chance you could post a close up pic of where the air temp sensor mounts? I will have to make something for mine. The kit I bought looks pretty close to yours, and was the same cost. I am also not sure what the smaller diameter short piece of hose is for.

Here is the kit installed on mine. You can see the AIT plugged in on the right side just before the TB. I bought an extra 6" long piece to extend the filter further away, so it it right up next to the existing hole in the fenderwell that the original box drew air from.

Nice. Looks good! Looks like my kit, I just don't have the hole. I am going to send an email to the place I got it to see what the deal is.

Hey sorry for the late post was working lol.......

Here are my pics.... and the newest thing I did was temporary put a pipe from the air box to the fender where the hole is. It sounds a little better with out the air horn lol...... One of the pics is the air temperature sensor spot.

Here's what it looks like in plastic....

I measured my ouside air temp vs my intake air temp with the SC. I'm withing 15-20 degrees as long as I'm about 35mph and even more when under full load. I'll be doin a few other tricks to see if I can get the temps even closer....
