Default found the noise

its coming from where the rear drive shaft enters the rear diff...any thoughts on what this noise could be and why its intermittent? not getting any codes or anything

Could be the seal going out. Are you leaking any fluid? I would check your ear diff gear oil level.

sounds like u joints or a pinion seal. shouldnt be to hard to fix

Now if it was coming from where the rear drive shaft enters the front differential, I could tell ya your problem.

I'm with Blown, if your ear diff gear oil level goes down there is no Q-TIP that will help you!!!!

yeah no no fluid leaking its still full as can be...so i'm not worrying about it till i get back from NTC then its gonna dads anyway...think i'm getting an SRT-4 when i get home! so i can keep it dodge!
