was thinking about it, but its alot of work taking and posting pictures...I started one on d-d.com but only a few people were interested and it fizzled.

Truck is a 2005 4.7L ext. cab 4x4 w/ 44k miles

Parts:
-08' intake
-70mm TB
-walbro 255lph fuel pump
-47# ford racing injectors
-SCT tuner
-turbosmart wastegate @ 7psi
-hks dual sequential BOV
-garrett t60-1 journal bearing
..intake side: a/r .70
..exhaust: a/r .84
-srt4 2bar MAP
-k&N cone filter
-some no name Scavenger oil pump(has brass internals and says can handle 300* oil temps)...we shall see
-Front Mount Intercooler
-JBA short tube headers
-v2 oxygen sensor sims
-I also upgraded to drilled/slotted rotors, swapped out my open diff. to a LSD one, and installed a Sharidan Stage 3 valve body in my 545rfe

*Exhaust is headers to custom 2.25" y-pipe, into a magnaflow collector, then 2.5" back to the turbo and my charge line is 2" aluminum back to the IC. The turbo sits infront of the pass. rear wheel, well up into the underside of the bed. The IC piping goes across the truck, over the gas tank and follows the frame rail into the engine bay. There was no way I could fit it up the passenger side of the truck without having issues.

I prob forgot some stuff...

Well you are gonna get a lot of attention here, we have an awesome crowd.

What's up with the "no name" scavenging pump. Be really careful with that, after all it's probably one of the most critical parts of a remote set up.
A high temperature oil pump should ALWAYS be geared, not one of those diaphragm pumps.

You did say it had brass internals, so im guessing it uses brass gears.

As for the SCT tuner, dd u get a custom tune from them?

yea, it's geared, was expensive too, 200 something bucks. I have a 91 octane n/a tune now, this dude Hemifever from d-d.com owes me 2 more tunes, waiting on my wideband a/r gauge to send him some numbers. I have a manual BC and a 10:1 FMU that i have no need for if you know anyone looking, also have some cobra ev6 injectors, think theyre 39#.

Nice, let me know how it goes with SCT. Altought I'm starting with an SFAC just to get going, I might just go with the SCT eventually.

Im placing my turbo under the cab too. Besides the muffler right by the exhaust there is another one under the center of the cab. When removed it leaves a nice well to install the turbo in.

The intake can go up further between the bed frame and outside body molding. Im going to use an intake hose (similar to the ones found in industrial vacuum cleaners) to snorkle the intake.

I circled more or less where the intake would be.

We always see people talk the talk, but very few are brave enough to actually put the money out there and do custom work like this. The work you guys are doing is awesome! I hope to see some wicked fast Raiders very soon!

where you circled is where my turbo is pretty much gunna sit. As far as the intake goes m just gunna cone filter directly off the turbo itself. I figure its high enough to avoid splashes or road debris and the air being sucked into the turbo is gunna get heated anyways so their no need for a "cold air" set up on a turbo application. Alot of remote setups replace the muffler w the turbo, but i dont like the way a dumped exhaust sounds, call me crazy, so the exhaust and wastegate dump are both going into a 14" magnaflow race muffler, and then dumped over the rear axel. Ha, I have a Dak...no raider here

Gentlemen, take into consideration that baffelled mufflers are not your friend. Find a straight through design. Now that you will be turbocharged, there is no need for additional back pressure...the turbo creates that for you. A straight through muffler will be the same configuration as a glass pack: perferated tube with matting around it. Borla makes excellent straight through designs. Or, just get a glass pack (if you are on a budget right now).

Also, if you are plumbing the wastegate back into the exhaust (and not dumping to the atmosphere) go with a bigger diameter exhaust from the wastegate entry back. This will help eliminate boost creep, since you guys are not running much boost. So, if you have 3" exhaust going to the turbo, then increase the diameter to 4" right before the wastegate entry tube.
