Intercooling piping is done. I had to do maybe a total of 4 cuts to the universal piping kit. The couplers are from Exreme PSI and stainless steel t-clamps by Clampco.

The plastic piece holding up the battery can be trimmed to allow the pipe to snake under it. Removing the battery tray is a bit of a PITA, but the rest of the installation was relatively easy

Just gotta make a couple of brackets and pretty much be done under the hood.

here are some pics:

Thanks guys!

For the sake of getting everything plugged in and running I'm going to start off with an SAFC unit at about 7psi and boost up whenever I can afford an EMS 8860 or figure u how to tune with Megasquirt.

I'm really not too exited about the SAFC but its the only way to start boosting without spending the additional $1200 right now.

I would probably guess 250-260 at the wheels at 7psi ( I also have the H.O cams going in).

Also, i suspect the intercooler will be a huge drag at 7psi, but will help my temps as I go up in boost.

Remme what platform are you working on? Also a remote set up?

Isn't the h.o. rated 260 at the crank?

I would get hard piping for the intercooler. You dont want silicone hoses like that
