Did u return the oil line to the oil pan?

Be careful those rubber hoses don't come in contact with the tranny or exhaust as rhe heat can start to warp them.

 

nah the pans on the 4bys are ridiculous to get to. I went to a valve cover, doesnt leak as of yet. good thing about the rubber line is its cheap and flexible, i have it routed in a safe way. nice i guess im going to have to go that route with the gauges, the pods i got didnt work out. I forgot but are you running a muffler? My truck is stupid loud, I almost dont like it. was thinking a moroso spiral race muffler 3.5" i/o or just stick with my magnaflow ss

 

No. Right now the exhaust is opened from the headers back.

Im planning to do the oil retun today so if I get that done then I will be able to go get everything welded tomorrow probably.

My plans are to have about 1.5 feet of pipe after te turbo and then dump it straigt down. No muffler.

 

Its about 100 degrees in jersey so the truck build is on stand by. I have short tube headers, to a custom y pipe and then the turbo. Saying it is loud would be an understatement. I bought a 3" moroso spiral flow race muffler and a new exhaust flange, going to weld something up just to see the difference.

Do you have the wastegate on already? The turo itself will act as a muffler.

 

yes, everything is up and running, minus the oil leak from the feed line. Ha, the turbo didnt muffle much at all, then again I only ran it for a minute or two before the oil pressure dropped 3 qts on my driveway. I already bought a muffler, mandrel bends and a new flange. theyll probably get here by weeks end, I'll keep the exxhaust set up I got now and weld up a replacement with a muffler and test drive them both, see which is better suited for everyday driving. Oh and my brand new boost gauge is broken...POS

Up and running, very very rich but i'll adjust that with the tuning. Havent really gotten on it but she sounds awesome(waiting on the new exhaust flange to weld up the muffler. Trying to p*ssy foot it til I get a boost gauge, which by the way Im in the market for if anyone has one lying around.
