Default When all else fails grab your Dakota

Well my Thursday start out pretty well. Nice and snugly in my bed snoring away. About 3am the wind picks up. I can hear the window shacking, wind blowing, raining like no other. Then at 3:15 I start to hear this wonderful snapping noise of tree limbs. I heard a thump but no truck crushing sound, so I assumed my truck was ok.

Woke up about 5:45, thinking hmm I better go see where that tree fell. Back window... see nothing. Front window... see nothing. Walk out the front door and look down the driveway... CRAP tree blocking my only exit to work.

Grab my keys to unlock my shed to grab my chain saw. Ohh great my brother never returned it. HMM what to do. Well time to get the tow strap out and put the Dakota to the test.

Sorry for the blurry pics, Dragged the tree over half way up the driveway so I could get around.

Pretty impressive. I know I was never happier to see my Dak last night then ever before. I was out with the gf on my harley and the rain didn't bother me till I was about 5 miles from home near the lake when the wind picked up and started throwing sand and dirt and when we first discovered the storm starting I got hit with a huge wind gust and blew from one side to the other it was so out of no where. Well after all the hail and down pours that felt like golf ***** to the face I made it back to the Dak and rode home safe and sound.
