I have a 2008 Laramie. The stereo has the Uconnect buttons but when you press them it says uconnect is not available. Where is the uconnect module located if i have one, and what would I need to do to get it activated? thanks!

 

It should be in the passenger foot well panel.

 

my wifes Journey does the same thing. I've searched for them on the internet and the modules are quite expensive. Luckily my truck already has it.

 

10K or so miles after I bought the truck I had to get the Uconnect replaced under warranty because it kept saying the same thing.. As far as I know its been working fine but I havent used it in a while.

 

I hope mine dies....that way I can buy a custom stereo and backup camera!

I might just do it anyway. I wish the stock stereo was A2DP.

Even though you have the buttons you may not have that option. If you PM me your VIN I can check if you do have it and let you know.

 

Chris - can you help me out as well. I have the same problem. I have the buttons for UConnect but I get the same messages. If you would email me (if you are able to help) I will send you my VIN as well. I have a 2008 Dodge Durango that was purchased in 2009 (used) but had very little information about the features that were available on it.
