There is NO LEDs in the cluster, EL only that is why Black cat does the light filter on the faces the only way you can change the light color is to change the EL.

There are cutable sheets of EL, I don't know how they work but chances are you would need your own converter to power it. I don't think you could do it in one piece either.

Ya I was looking into it when i did my face and it was more work then i was willing to do,
If you get a universal EL sheet most sheets have solder terminals all the way around all 4 sides you can basically solder where ever you want, Then you need a 12V EL inverter you can mount it in your behind your dash somewhere and tap into a power source that comes on with your instrument lights and ya its doable but was not worth my time

unfortunatley i think what these guys are saying is the truth, ill let you know when i get it apart, as i want to go to the black outline ont he guage opposed to the silver i got....
