You know all the gauge lighting comes from an electroluminescent display thats why we have to go with gauge overlays to change the colors as opposed to a simple bulb swap.

nope i didnt know, and i havent had the time or nor have i ever taken one apart, i could of sworn we had a customer have a problem with half of his lighting before, thought it was just bulbs, again like i said tho i havent taken one apart so i dont know for sure..............

We were talking about it being EL from the beginning of the thread..

What color did you order anywyas donkey?

nah that was the hvac controls i was doing, newayz i think the T5 bulbs will work without dremeling or cutting, if you wanna wait tuesday when i get paid im gonna order everything or u can follow page 1

Yea my bad. Different thread, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who will buy what you don't use donkey. Depending on which color you ordered, I may be interested.

how wide is the base (White part) on the old bulb?
T3 = 8mm
T4 = 10mm
T5 = 12mm
Also how tall is it? (Base to top of bulb)

According to a chart I found. Im interested as I want to change mine to blue.
I ll just live with the Green cluster

i wish i knew, someone go to harbor freight and spend 5$ on a micrometer, i have a total of 65 cents to my name or i would go buy one.....let me know how it goes if you order them!!!
