Couldn't crack 20 MPG

I think this is either an average from last reset or a moving average of some sort.
If I want a good calculation, I reset the overhead before a big trip, and it seems pretty accurate. Not close if I just let it run on over several tanks, city and highway. It should be really accurate, since the injectors meter exactly how much fuel it used.

Do you re-set the overhead each tank-full?

If I do all highway is driving I can average about 20-21 mpg, now thats doing the math at the pump miles\gal=mpg. But now I average about 40 miles highway a day with about 10 miles around town and I average around 17mpg (now that has been on SC 91 tune) Just changed back to 87 tune so I will have to see where it goes now.

Its a custom fabbed tank that sits in the bed. I was going to have a round tank made to fit where the spare is but I felt it important to have the spare on long trips. The tank has its own fuel gauge and feeds the main tank by a 160 GPH fuel pump via a "dead man" switch.I've got it set up so I can pull the entire system out of my truck in about 10 minutes when not in use. Its also emissions compliant.
