Default Couldn't crack 20 MPG

I drove from northern VA to Philly today on I-95 doing 70-75mph. I just could not crack 20mpg. Got very close, like 19.8. How am I doing?

pretty damn good for coastal flat driving. when I drive to Cali I can barely rustle up 20 and that's a 4000 ft drop with no average rise in elevation.

With 4.7 (2010), 3.92:1 rear end, and lightly loaded, the best I've gotten at those speeds is 20.9 mpg. The 2008+ Corsair engines are about 5 mpg better than the older 4.7's in the Dak.

Pretty good, best I have gotten was 21.5, that was by the overhead and confirmed by long hand calcs.

I'd say pat yourself on the back, you have exceeded the manufacturers rating for highway mileage.....

20 mpg should be attainable. I haven't done it either, but hardly ever take highway trips since I find my truck less comfortable with too short of a range compared to my car. I did get 19.3 on my last tank though by hand calc. Only checked because I was running pure gas, wasn't bad for 20% town driving.

I routinely get 20 on highway at 70-75 mph. Of course, I only have the v6.

recently drove from Toronto Ontario to Sarasota Florida (1400 miles each way) and averaged 19.1 mpg. That's through the mountains along I-77. Had about a 600lb load and stopped only once in West Virginia for fuel.

Went from chicago to Maryland on the coast. On some of the flat areas I filled up on, I AVERAGED 20+ but I'm guessing for a good part of that I was doing 23+
I plan on getting 20 as an average all the time, but my foot keeps getting stuck on that pedal on the right. It can be done guys, it's just not easy.
