Default Tire Pressure Question

I have mastercraft courser mt tires. 245/75/16. I believe they all have 60psi in them currently. I was wondering if I should drop it down any? I know anything around 30mph you feel like your lumping around. Anything faster it feels great. What's your guises opinions?

60 psi is way too high. I would drop it down to about 40 ish.
At 60, you're probably wearing out the center of your tire way too quickly, not to mention the extra bumpy ride.

I'm rolling at 38psi.

Thanks for the quick reply. I had 45psi thought in my head. But I'm no expert. But I do know that over inflation and under inflation is bad haha.

Yeah, over inflate and you wear out the center of the tire tread quicker.

Under inflate and you wear out the sides of the tire tread quicker.

Funny thing is that the tire place put 60psi in. Not me. I do my usual 35psi in my vehicles.

Dropped them down to 40psi. Will see how that does here in a hour or so.

Leave it at 40...at 60 PSI you can't count on that tread for more than 10,000 miles

I have only ever put that much in street bicycle tires. Though my 19.5s in the ram 4500 dually I drive are at 85-90

Any passenger car or truck I've always ran 35-40.

I get my best ride/mileage numbers at 38-41 psi with the stock tires.

36-38 PSI here. Usually try to run closer to 38 in the summer and 36 in the winter.
