Default Transmission Won't Go In Gear: P0700/876/944

Hey Guys,
Was pulling into work today and transmission went caput. Ran my codes and got P0700, P0876, & P0944. Just got home and doing my research. So, far I'm hearing it might be my Pressure Solenoid, Pressure Sensor, and whatever "Loss of Prime" means.

Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Not moving forward or reverse at all? Lost all gears? Define "caput".

Other than park, any gear...reverse, drive, etc...it's like I'm in neutral. Tranny fluid is full. But won't engage in any gear.

That sucks. How many miles are on your truck?

Seems like I read of those solenoids being the problem for someone a few years ago.

She's almost got 150K on her. So it don't surprise me too much. Just not very good timing. Lol. Hope I can get it fixed soon, or fix it myself

Loss of prime means, either you have a leak and the fluid is too low to engage. Or the transmission front pump has failed. Do you know if the transmission is a 42RLE?

Pretty sure it's 42RLE, checked fluid again, and no leak...topped off too

First thing I would do, is hook up a 300 psi gauge into the line pressure port and post the readings. That will let you know if you have line pressure.

Good idea. Leaving for my national guard drill this morning, but I'll be sure to do that first thing when I get back
