update: alignment shop is working with me. they say no problem; it will just take longer. also happy to find out that i put it together such that all the geometry is in the right ball park. no negative caster or positve camber or toe-out. the inspection is working out too, since i know the guy. Now, about those fiberglass fenders and 35x12.50s...

what do you need to see? it is a hack job. I basically cut just above the factory crease. i used to use body trim on the cut edge and it looked pretty normal. Amazingly the mud flap still worked. just trying to get the glass on now, so it looks like hell with no trim and no inner fender.
I decided on 34 10.50 17 interco LTBs (yikes). 35s are all 12.50s. they dont want to clear the upper balljoint/CA and i dont want anymore offset. i like a 10.50 on my 8" rims too.

AHHH! too late; i would have bought those fenders.
Im gonna need another inch of off-set to clear my control arms with 12.50s. I really want to, but these 34s are not even an inch shorter (33.8 vs 34.5). the fenders are only 3" wider, and thats where i am now. 12.50s + another inch for spacing will stick out too much for me aesthetically. not to mention the 10.50s are over 20 pounds lighter, with deeper tread. But rest assured, 35s would fit fine.
BTW the truck is soooooo smooth now, with no bounce. i will need to hook up the back as it is coming off the ground now instead of the front.

i dont think a .5" smaller tire is going to keep me from rubbing at full stuff. eventually i will try to chop and clearance for some more room. need about two inches at the fire wall and some of the support members for the hood/fender can be trimmed. i was also able to move the wheel forward with all of the adjust-ability of the new CAs for a tad more clearance. But it will have to hit pretty hard to get full bump. Especially since I have it set to about a 2-3" lift right now. i have more lift than before and still more down travel! Crazy.
FYI: these FOAs sing a bit. the dual rate slider squeaks a little sliding on the shock body. clocking the springs helped a bit, but FOA says it is par for the course. no complaints here.
